Job summary

TJ Maxx in Westerly is seeking a front-end leader to oversee store operations and ensure an excellent customer experience at our Westerly location. You will supervise Associates, coordinate POS coverage, and promote loyalty programs while upholding company policies.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to train others. You will partner with management to execute the store plan and drive a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
• Able to train others
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Promotes an excellent customer experience and exceptional service.
• Oversees front-of-store Associates and promotes loyalty programs while maintaining a positive environment.
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles and customer interactions.
• Assigns registers, coordinates breaks, and ensures POS coverage as needed.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and prioritizes accordingly.
• Communicates priorities clearly with management and staff.
