Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and courteous. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized line and supporting training and supervision of crew members.

The position requires understanding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, cash handling knowledge, food safety awareness, and basic office paperwork.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature on the line, and daily checklists.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are stocked.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
