Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leader to WOW customers and oversee day-to-day operations in US stores. You will train crew, manage opening/closing, and drive sales while controlling expenses. This hourly role offers scheduling flexibility across days and weekends.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and a High School diploma or equivalent. College experience preferred and growth opportunities within Five Below.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floorset.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team on merchandising and recovery strategies.
• Maintain the store, including cleaning and stock room organization.
