Job summary

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other hotel departments.

You will lead front desk staff, manage scheduling and training, handle check-in and check-out, billing accuracy, and guest concerns with professionalism, maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of hotel front desk experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional guest service at all times.
• Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and billing accuracy.
• Handle guest complaints or issues and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Monitor room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels.
• Assist with front desk operations during peak times.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and brand guidelines.
