Job summary

Fairfield Inn and Suites is seeking a Front Desk Agent who will be the guests' first point of connection. You’ll handle check-ins/outs, respond to inquiries, and strive to create memorable experiences that encourage guest loyalty.

You will resolve complaints promptly, navigate property systems, manage cash security, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs, while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and a team spirit.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Professional in presentation and demeanor.
• Enjoy working with a team.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written.
• Ability to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
• Must show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
• Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments.
• Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary accounts.
• Learn property systems and navigate reports quickly and efficiently.
• Follow cash/check/credit card/AR control procedures with proper security.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and follow up.
• Identify potential leads through guest interactions and share with sales/GM.
• Answer telephone and emails promptly with a friendly tone.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
