Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding brand standards.

This role covers store operations, marketing support, cash handling, safety, and cleanliness, with weekend and holiday availability at East Peoria and Peoria locations to serve the community. You will model the mission and core values to drive growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, including weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling/inventory tools to drive operations.
• Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver smoothies and healthy products while monitoring KPIs.
• Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits).
• Ensure food safety guidelines are followed by all team members.
• Champion and embody Smoothie King's culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and coordinate equipment/facility upkeep.
• Drive company programs through action planning and team motivation.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team for proper execution.
