Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Host to be a primary contact for members, guests, and staff, greeting guests, answering calls, and creating reservations for Club/F&B operations. The role emphasizes warmth, organization, and professional service from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate will have OpenTable and MICROS experience, multi-tasking ability, and a friendly, discreet demeanor to ensure an exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a similar host/recep role.
• Experience using OpenTable and MICROS for reservations.
• Experience answering high-volume phone lines professionally and promptly.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Detail oriented, articulate, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and staff and manage seating and reservations.
• Answer high-volume calls and provide accurate information on menus, hours, amenities, pricing, and reservations.
• Create reservations for club/restaurants and assist managers on the floor with service standards.
• Maintain professional and discreet communication with guests and team members.
• Collaborate with reception to ensure excellent service and manage expectations.
• Build relationships with members and guests and relay feedback to management.
• Foster a welcoming, approachable and professional atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
