Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking a friendly Host to begin the guest experience with warmth, manage seating, and maintain smooth flow from arrival to departure. You will greet guests, answer calls, set up the host station, and coordinate with servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring a love for hospitality, enjoy teamwork, and are available on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and eligible to work.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong team spirit and clear communication.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm from the first interaction.
• Answer guest calls with professionalism and hospitality.
• Set up the host area for a smooth shift.
• Maintain a professional image and appearance guidelines.
• Keep track of table flow and dining room pacing for a great guest experience.
• Adjust seating plans to avoid bottlenecks and long waits.
• Manage special seating requests with table availability.
• Communicate with Managers and Team Members to keep service moving.
• Support servers and service assistants when needed.
• Assist with light side work and keep entry area welcoming.
• Maintain polished phone etiquette for reservations.
