Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a friendly Host to set the tone for guests from the moment they arrive. You’ll greet guests with energy, manage the host area to ensure a smooth shift, and help maintain a polished dining room presence.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate seating, assist servers, answer questions about food and wine, and uphold appearance guidelines. Weekend and holiday shifts are required, with extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must love hospitality and create unforgettable guest experiences.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Team spirit and clear communication.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm from the first interaction.
• Answer guest phone calls with professionalism and hospitality.
• Set up host area for a smooth shift by following checklists.
• Maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance guidelines.
• Manage table flow to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Adjust seating to avoid bottlenecks and manage seating requests.
• Communicate with Managers and Team Members to keep service moving.
• Support servers and service assistants when needed to help the team shine.
• Answer questions about food and wine with warmth and knowledge.
• Assist with light side work and keep entry area welcoming.
• Polish phone etiquette when answering calls and handling reservations.
