Job summary

Indiana University in Bloomington is seeking a part-time Ticket Taker for IU Auditorium to greet guests, scan tickets, and assist with seating and directions at a busy venue.

You will help guests navigate the arena, ensure proper entry/exit, and uphold safety during performances. The role requires excellent service, teamwork, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Compensation is $11.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Must demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and provide expert customer service.
• Scan tickets accurately at entry/exit using handheld devices.
• Assist guests with directions, seating questions, and general inquiries about the venue.
• Monitor entry and exit to ensure valid tickets and proper scanning.
• Ensure safe and memorable guest experiences.
