Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's Auditorium is seeking a part-time Ticket Taker to greet patrons and provide outstanding customer service at entry and exit points. You will scan tickets and assist guests with seating, directions, and inquiries during performances and events in a busy venue.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED) required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets patrons and provides expert customer service.
• Scans tickets accurately at entry/exit points using handheld devices.
• Assists guests with directions, seating questions, and general inquiries about the venue.
• Monitors entry and exit to ensure valid tickets are scanned in/out.
• Ensures safe and memorable guest experiences.
