Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a friendly Greeter to staff the main lobby, greet guests, and direct them to exhibits and facilities. The role supports admission procedures, manages queues, and provides orientation with a warm, clear voice.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Visitor & Event Coordinator, sharing basic gallery rules, and maintaining stocked materials. Commitment to weekends/evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years in customer-facing receptionist, retail, or hospitality roles.
• Physical: Standing or moving in a busy lobby for extended periods (4 to 6 hours) and projecting a warm, clear voice.
• Availability: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evening events as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest and provide maps and orientation.
• Manage lobby flow and check-in queues for safe entry.
• Guide visitors to restrooms, cafes, elevators, and exhibits.
• Coordinate with events team to stay updated on daily programs and closures.
• Keep reception area tidy and stocked with brochures and visitor materials.
