Job summary

This part-time, nonexempt role emphasizes hospitality, clear communication, and teamwork. You’ll stand for most of the shift, handle payments, assist in the retail space, and keep guest areas welcoming from start to finish.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Excellent hospitality and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the front desk and manage check-in procedures.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions.
• Promote memberships and events; support retail transactions.
• Keep guest areas, lobby, exhibits, and ticketing spaces welcoming and clean.
• Support birthdays, events, and facility rentals as scheduled.
• Be the go-to guide for Discovery Lab activities and attractions.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and safety awareness.
