Job summary

The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center in Lewis Center, Ohio is seeking a polished Front Desk Agent to deliver refined guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will handle reservations, payments, and guest inquiries with accuracy, while maintaining an elegant lobby presence and a guest-first mindset.

Ideal candidates have experience in luxury hospitality, are flexible with weekends/holidays, and can learn the OPERA Cloud PMS quickly.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and elevated customer service skills.
• Experience with OPERA Cloud PMS strongly preferred (or ability to learn quickly).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Leadership qualities, initiative, and a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide refined, professional, and warm guest service during check-in and check-out
• Handle reservations, payments, and guest inquiries with accuracy and care
• Operate the OPERA Cloud Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations, billing, and guest profiles
• Collaborate with housekeeping, Sales, Planning, and all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
• Maintain an elegant, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby presence
• Uphold luxury service standards and consistently exceed guest expectations
