Valor is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet and seat guests, manage seating arrangements, and coordinate with servers and kitchen to ensure a smooth dining experience. You will be the first and last impression, guiding guests from arrival to departure with courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the dining room operates efficiently while upholding high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• First point of contact for guests; greet, answer questions, make guests feel welcome.
• Ability to manage seating, reservations, and flow of dining room.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort to table, present menus.
• Ensure doors are clean, inviting, and welcoming.
• Maintain menu cleanliness and accuracy, including special items.
• Inform servers of location and assigned stations.
• Plan seating chart and organize reservations for the evening.
• Coordinate with reservations staff to confirm guest counts.
• Ensure staff staffing for private parties as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen on item availability and timing.
• Maintain constant communication with servers, manager, and kitchen to synchronize service.
