Renaissance Allentown Hotel is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them and guiding them to seating. This full-time position offers opportunities to interact with guests and support a smooth dining experience.

You will manage seating with OpenTable, maintain a clean podium, and coordinate with the restaurant team. Strong English communication and professional phone etiquette are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, speaking and writing.
• Professional phone etiquette and reservation management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• One year of hospitality or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat all guests warmly and professionally.
• Maintain seating chart using OpenTable.
• Ensure tables are properly set before seating.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations.
• Handle cash and room charges accurately.
• Keep host podium clean and stocked.
• Ensure menus are clean and presentable.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, locations, hours.
