Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Liberty Township is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, open doors, and escort them to their tables with a warm, guest-focused attitude.

You will manage reservations via OpenTable, communicate wait times during peak periods, and help maintain a spotless host stand. This role offers flexible opportunities, ongoing training, and eligibility for medical benefits and time off for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more while on duty.
• Ability to bend, kneel and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Patient, guest-oriented mindset and ability to maintain positive relationships.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• FOH roles require 18+ age.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Partner with Front of House team to ensure smooth service.
