Job summary

Hyatt Place is hiring a Gallery Host to join our Guest Services team. The role supports Front Desk, Breakfast, and Gallery operations to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and genuine hospitality experience for guests throughout their stay.

Responsibilities include guest check-in/out, breakfast setup, and maintaining clean public areas, while providing local recommendations and prompt service. The position requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or Front Desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service throughout the guest experience.
• Assist with Front Desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, payments, and guest requests.
• Prepare, set up, stock, and maintain the breakfast area and food and beverage presentation.
• Ensure the breakfast area remains clean, organized, well-stocked, and guest-ready throughout the service period.
• Maintain the Gallery and public areas to Hyatt Place cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Assist guests with questions about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, dining, transportation, and other area recommendations.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and replenish supplies throughout the Front Desk, Breakfast, and Gallery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and hotel operating standards.
• Assist with additional hotel operations and duties as assigned.
• Create memorable guest experiences by anticipating guest needs and demonstrating genuine care and hospitality.
