Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily Front Desk operations, hire and train staff, and ensure top-tier guest satisfaction while optimizing revenue at our Newark, NJ property.

You will lead the Guest Service team, handle emergencies with composure, and ensure adherence to hotel SOPs. Strong English communication and customer service are essential, with a professional appearance and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate in English.
Strong team player with professional appearance.
Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
Basic math and calculator proficiency for cashiering and reporting.
Proficient with computer systems used at the front desk.
Experience supervising front desk operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Interview, hire, train and evaluate Front Desk staff; manage disciplinary actions when needed.
Respond to guest requests and accommodate groups to maximize satisfaction and repeat business.
Oversee Front Desk operations to ensure SOPs and LSOPs are followed and revenues are maximized.
Supervise Guest Service Agents and ensure smooth front desk flow.
Remain calm in emergencies; resolve conflicts with guests using sound judgment.
Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
