Sonesta Silicon Valley Milpitas is hiring a Guest Services Agent to deliver exceptional service at the front desk. You will register guests, answer inquiries, handle cash and card transactions, and support the Operations Manager during shifts.

The role requires English fluency, strong communication, and the ability to upsell rooms while maintaining guest privacy and safety. Primary duties include managing reservations, assisting guests with services, and coordinating with other shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or to be obtained.
• TIPS certification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures, issue deposits and reports.
• Maintain security of cash, transactions, and guest information.
• Routinely book guest reservations by phone or in person; up-sell rooms.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategy for pricing and occupancy.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across shifts and departments.
• Assist with shoppe and bar services; ensure beverage service complies with laws.
• Fulfill guest requests and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
