Job summary

Residence Inn Columbus Downtown is seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator & Front Desk Support Team Member to join our extended-stay hotel in downtown Columbus. This role blends sales coordination with front desk duties to ensure seamless experiences for individual guests and group events.

The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Some evening/weekend shifts and strong computer skills are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Input all groups into the reservation system
• Input and update all rooming lists
• Set up group and preferred account routing for billing
• Build house accounts for meeting rooms and group blocks
• Handle front desk duties including check-in, folio review, and guest inquiries
• Manage calls and emails for group updates and requests
• Work ~20 hours in sales support and ~20 hours in front desk support weekly
• Some evening and weekend shifts may be required
