Job summary

Remington Hotels in Dallas seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee staffing and service delivery at the front desk. You will supervise front desk agents, train staff, interview hires, and ensure smooth check-in/check-out using the MICROS system.

The role requires calm handling of demanding guests, a strong work ethic, and flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays; you will collaborate with housekeeping and engineering to support guest needs.

Qualifications

• Experience staffing front office in hotel settings.
• Ability to manage MICROS system and daily transactions.
• Ability to calmly handle high-demand or upset guests.
• Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff and PBX operators.
• Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
• Accurately manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often.
• Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports.
• Communicate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest rooms, requests and maintenance requests/needs. Efficiently process guest requests to the appropriate departments
• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel, answering questions, and assisting guests with needs.
