Job summary

Montage International in Chicago seeks a Front Office Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and personalize stays. You will handle folios, invoicing, and guest billing while coordinating with department leaders for a seamless experience.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in hotel operations and customer service, strong English communication, and MS Office proficiency. Benefits include 401(k) match, PTO, complimentary meals, and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a hotel operations environment.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle billing.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken, read and written).
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Host and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist with check-in/out, folios, invoicing and billing.
• Identify and resolve guest opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Coordinate with department leaders to personalize guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate guest record keeping and knowledge of hotel services.
