Job summary

Montage International in Chicago seeks a Front Office Agent to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and manage folios and billing. You will collaborate with hotel departments to deliver personalized experiences, answer questions about services and local attractions, and help exceed guest expectations.

Expect a role grounded in hospitality, with strong customer service and English communication skills, and opportunities for growth within Montage Hotels & Resorts and Pendry

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a hotel operations environment.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; daily use of programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain telephone etiquette.
• Host and welcome guests with a friendly, sincere demeanor.
• Assist with guest check-in/out, folios, invoicing and billing.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest stay experiences.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure personalized service.
• Maintain accurate guest account records and know hotel services.
• Answer questions about local surroundings and services.
