Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Services associate responsible for greeting guests, registering arrivals, and ensuring a pleasant stay. The role involves handling payments, posting charges, and resolving issues to meet hotel standards.

The position requires strong English communication, customer service focus, and basic computer skills in a fast-paced hotel environment. The job operates around the clock due to 24/7 hotel operations, with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with a friendly welcome and provide information on hours and attractions.
• Complete the registration process and code room keys and coupons as appropriate.
• Handle cash, balance house bank, and post charges to guest rooms using the computer.
• Answer phones promptly in clear English and relay messages to guests.
• Close accounts at checkout and resolve guest issues per guidelines with supervision if needed.
• Assist other front desk personnel and perform related duties as requested by supervisor.
