Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; plus one year front desk/guest service experience.
• Some college coursework preferred; hospitality experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and in accordance with procedures.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Communicate guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.
• Respond to guest complaints and offer service recovery gestures.
