Job summary

Rocking Chair Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual to support the Front Desk team. The role requires handling check-ins/outs, guest requests, and billing, while maintaining a welcoming lobby environment.

Candidates should have prior hospitality or customer service experience and be able to work weekends and holidays. Knowledge of guest services and promotions is a plus, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous hotel experience is preferred.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Front Desk standards of service and hospitality.
• Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
• Post guest charges and compute guest bill and collect payment.
• Handle guest mail/packages and communicate delivery to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of Marriott Rewards program and promotions.
• Block rooms and handle special requests.
• Monitor room availability and balance cash and credit cards per shift.
• Open and close shift and perform cash drops.
• Maintain lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
