Qualifications

• Ability to operate a calculator to perform moderately complex math accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills to handle diverse guests with patience and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office during shifts.
• Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Ability to input and retrieve information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe and respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with a friendly welcome and provide information on local attractions and hours.
• Complete the registration process in the hotel system, assign rooms, and prepare welcome materials.
• Process payments, verify cards, balance the house bank, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Answer calls promptly in English, relay messages, and assist guests with mail and packages.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues following established guidelines.
• Assist PBX or reservations staff and provide general front-office support.
