The role emphasizes recognizing rewards club members, personalizing stays, and coordinating with management when necessary, all while maintaining a polished appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; college degree is a bonus but not required.
• Experience at front desk or guest service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and resolve issues.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
• Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out, collect IDs, issue keys, and manage safety deposits.
• Record guest preferences and respond to requests and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and involve management when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
• Maintain a professional appearance and brand ambassador presence.
• Know the day’s events and assist with other duties as needed.
