Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, register them efficiently, and ensure a seamless checkout experience. You will manage guest accounts, process payments, and provide information on local attractions with a courteous, professional demeanor.

The role requires strong English communication and the ability to handle high-volume periods while maintaining guest satisfaction. The position is full-time and based at our Durham property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written.
• Strong calculator skills for moderately complex math.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and register them efficiently with a friendly, sincere welcome.
• Close out guest accounts at checkout and balance house accounts.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle cash and voucher payments.
• Post charges to guest rooms and ensure accurate billing in the system.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests and staff.
• Address guest complaints and resolve issues to meet service standards.
