Main Event Entertainment is seeking an Event Coordinator to help guests plan birthday and event experiences, tailoring each to their needs. You will sell and schedule events, input guest data, and collaborate with the Sales Manager to surpass quarterly targets, while prospecting new business and supporting local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience; food & beverage or retail experience is a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Relationship-building is very important.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Able to communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand event packages and add-ons.
• Sell, schedule, and coordinate corporate, group, and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest information in systems and create follow-up tasks.
• Partner with Sales Manager to exceed targets and plans.
• Prospect and cold call to develop new and repeat business.
• Support local store marketing to drive event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to share ideas.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing office duties and uphold cleanliness and safety.
