Job summary

Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking Service Assistants to keep the dining room running smoothly and help create memorable moments for every guest. You will support the team, prepare stations, and ensure guest readiness with a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates are 18+, energetic, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds. Open weekends/holidays and strong communication are a must.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Energy and positivity with a love for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• A team mindset and willingness to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Start every shift with a positive attitude and prepare your station using company checklists.
• Stay stocked on tableware dishes and supplies to keep the service flowing.
• Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared.
• Keep the dining room and work areas clean, organized and guest ready.
• Restock and reset tables quickly so guests are welcomed without delay.
• Communicate with servers, food runners and managers to keep service running seamlessly.
• Help with food running and carryout orders to support the team whenever needed.
• Greet guests with warmth and a friendly attitude.
• Be helpful in answering questions about food, wine and our facilities.
• Go the extra step to keep the dining experience comfortable, welcoming and polished.
