Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a Guest Service Representative for its Palm Springs Visitors Center. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, assisting with inquiries, reservations, and local information.

The position involves cash handling, phone duties, and coordination of guest services to support venue operations. The role requires hospitality or retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Knowledge of the Palm Springs area, including hotels, restaurants, retail, and entertainment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Ability to work extended periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and clients.
• Assists and resolves guest questions, inquiries, and concerns.
• Provides concierge services such as reservations and local information.
• Maintains merchandise, literature, and guest information.
• Monitors guest flow and events to ensure satisfaction.
• Answers phones and handles basic clerical tasks.
• Operates and balances cash registers and cash handling.
• Uses computers to access information and generate reports.
• Attends planning and training sessions.
• Promotes Oak View Group goals and brand promise.
