Job summary

The Front Desk Host at Mainsail Lodging & Development's Luminary Hotel & Co is a unique, versatile role supporting Front Desk, Bell Services, and Concierge Services. As one of the first contacts for our guests, the Host creates a welcoming first impression and delivers a personalized check-in experience.

The Front Desk Host will utilize advanced technology to facilitate seamless guest rooming and ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads.

Responsibilities

• Assign and escort guest to rooms according to their preferences paying attention to those nonverbal cues.
• Assist guests to their rooms and with guest luggage.
• Provide room quotes and upsell to guests when possible.
• Interact with guests using personalization, including guest names.
• Know hotel functions to showcase the property to guests.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and handle payments for stays.
• Provide local information for shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Desk as needed.
