Job summary

The Leo Kent in Tucson is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and support reservations. You will manage charges, maintain the front office system, and ensure smooth operations for a welcoming guest experience.

Ideal candidates enjoy teamwork, can handle varied schedules, and communicate effectively in writing and speech. This role requires on-site work in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel; assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Post charges accurately and efficiently; know how and where to post all charges.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office computer/system and daily transactions.
• Manage cash handling, including receiving payments and giving correct change.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates and discounts and how to handle each.
• Take same-day reservations; follow cancellation and relocation procedures as needed.
