Job summary

InnVentures in Portland, OR is hiring a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/out, and answer questions with professionalism. You will coordinate with departments to satisfy guest requests, manage reservations, and uphold service standards to ensure a memorable stay.

Candidates should have prior customer service experience, strong communication skills, be able to read, write, type, and use basic technology; must stand for shifts and lift 25 lbs; evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, efficient check-in and check-out for guests.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions about local area and facilities and provide directions/resources.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges on guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
