Job summary

InnVentures at TownePlace Suites Portland Vancouver, WA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first impression for guests. You will handle check-in/check-out, answer questions, and assist with requests to ensure memorable stays.

Join a team focused on outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment, coordinating with departments to deliver smooth service and a welcoming experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must stand for an entire shift and be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests receive a friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
• Handle continuous requests in a fast paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met.
• Answer questions regarding the local area and facilities and be able to give proper directions and resources to positively influence each guest’s stay.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
