Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Front Desk Agent at Hyatt House Portland Downtown to serve as the first impression for guests, handling check-in/out and guest questions with courtesy to build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• This role requires standing for an entire shift and lifting at least 25 pounds.
• Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests receive a friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions regarding the local area and facilities and provide directions and resources.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including transferring calls, taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post and reconcile charges on guest receipts.
• Support the hotel’s goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
