Job summary

Homewood Suites Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and checkouts, and answer questions about local dining and transportation.

You will balance the register, apply promotions, assist with guest services and ensure a smooth guest experience while communicating with team via radio and maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and dates.
• Take room reservations and quote rates according to policy.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system efficiently.
• Balance and prepare closing shift paperwork.
• Maintain promotions and guest programs.
