Job summary

The Courtland Grand in Atlanta is seeking a guest services professional to assist guests from arrival to departure. You will check guests in and out, manage room selection, input data into the hotel computer system, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth stay.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front desk and related areas.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with arrival and departure.
• Complete check-in/out by inputting data and verifying guest details.
• Code electronic keys, issue welcome folders, and handle payments.
• Convert foreign currency at current rates and post charges to guest accounts.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests, addressing concerns.
• Balance a house bank and handle vouchers, travelers checks, and payments.
• Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues with discretion and diplomacy.
