Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Pacific Grove, CA is seeking a Guest Service Agent to manage registration, check-out, PBX operations, and mail and message services while delivering exceptionally personal service.

You will review arrivals, check in and out guests confidently, answer calls knowledgeably, complete shift checklists, and coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff and Valet to create memorable stays. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role preferred.
• Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure with arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-out guests in a professional, friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls promptly and provide accurate information.
• Complete daily shift checklists (AM/PM/Overnight).
• Pre-assign rooms including VIPs and special requests.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff and Valet to ensure guest satisfaction.
