Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working in a customer service role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer questions about the hotel and local area.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Process payments for rooms and services.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities and packages.
• Monitor and update reservations system.
• Provide concierge services, such as making restaurant reservations.
• Answer and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Prepare and distribute guest key cards.
• Keep front desk and lobby tidy and presentable.
• Follow security and emergency procedures.
