The Seagate Hotel in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries with a focus on luxury service.

Responsibilities

• Confirm the sell status for the day and review group bookings, noting any special arrangements or requests.
• Organize reservations for the day's arrivals, pre-blocking VIP and group reservations.
• Run daily reports including house counts, room availability, occupancy, arrivals, and departures.
• Check guests in following credit policies and ensure the security of keys and key cards.
• Resolve guest problems promptly and efficiently.
• Take reservations in accordance with availability and handle outbound mail, messages, and packages.
• Maintain accurate turn away statistics if required.
• Understand and utilize the property management system effectively.
• Run appropriate daily special request reports and distribute them.
• Process credit limit reports and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Handle incoming reservation calls, answer inquiries, and provide necessary information.
• Process related mail such as reservation requests and correspondence.
• Provide clear directions and local area information to guests when needed.
• Promote effective referral services with other hotels.
• Stay informed about the property's sell status, group arrivals, special promotions, and local events.
• Understand property security and key control procedures, as well as reservation policies.
• Be familiar with property fire safety and emergency procedures, including emergency phone numbers.
