Job summary

Scarritt Bennett Center is seeking a part-time Welcome Center Associate in Nashville. You will greet guests, register them, process payments, and assist with overnight lodging.

The role requires handling calls, providing concierge-style information, and maintaining a welcoming lobby. The ideal candidate has experience in guest services or front desk operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services, hospitality, or front desk preferred.
• Experience with credit card, cash, and check transactions preferred.
• Experience with phone communication and transferring lines preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to multi-task and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests.
• Handle and/or transfer all incoming calls for the Center.
• Register guests and process payments at Welcome Center.
• Assist with overnight lodging procedures from reservation to checkout.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the Welcome Center and lobby.
• Respond to guest questions and build ongoing relationships.
• Be familiar with Nashville attractions and assist with information requests.
