The role requires prompt, courteous guest service, payment handling, and accurate input of guest information. Shifts vary due to 24/7 hotel operations, with duties including phone inquiries and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Calculator and basic math skills are important.
• Ability to work with customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficient English reading/writing and spoken communication.
• Ability to enter information using a computer system.
• Good hearing and vision to observe emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Complete registration by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle cash and payments.
• Answer the telephone with clear English; relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues per guidelines.
• Field guest complaints and find effective solutions for problems.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas neat and secure.
• Assist other Front Desk Personnel as needed.
