Job summary

Michaels Stores in Burton, MI is seeking a Store Team Member to assist customers, locate products, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You will engage shoppers, operate the checkout, and support recovery tasks to uphold brand standards.

This role requires standing for long periods, stocking, and assisting with omnichannel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store. Retail or customer service experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Standing for long periods required.
• Ability to move throughout the store and lift moderately heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Enrol customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) maintenance.
