Job summary

Michaels is seeking a retail team member to assist customers, locate products, and provide friendly checkout experiences. You will participate in stocking, planogram maintenance, and omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role includes merchandising, customer engagement, and adherence to SOPs while delivering the Michaels brand promises. As part of a climate-controlled store environment, you will help ensure in-stock conditions, participate in truck

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes: BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POGs)
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise returns/go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs
• Interact with others positively and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
