Job summary

Black Rock Mountain Resort in Heber City is seeking friendly and motivated Front Desk team members to be the first contact for guests, set the tone for their stay, and create a warm, memorable experience. You will greet guests, verify information, handle requests, promote amenities, and work with other departments to ensure seamless service.

This role requires hospitality mindset, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using computer systems and hotel PMS (training provided).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in guests with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate guest information, proper payment methods, and fulfillment of special requests.
• Create positive first and lasting impressions through genuine guest engagement.
• Provide local knowledge and insight to help guests enjoy the Heber Valley and Park City area.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, turning challenges into opportunities to WOW guests.
• Promote and sell hotel amenities, upgrades, and special programs.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including managing a house bank and deposits/refunds.
• Communicate with all departments to meet guest needs quickly and accurately.
