Wintergreen Resort in Virginia's Blue Ridge mountains is seeking a Front Desk Guest Service Representative to welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and promote resort services. Ideal candidates have excellent communication, enjoy helping guests, can handle a multi-line phone system, and perform cash handling with accuracy in a busy hospitality setting.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; standing or sitting for long periods, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and tolerance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with guests, owners and staff.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system and provide accurate information.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service to all visitors, guests, owners, members and resort staff.
• Assist guests with registration, check-in and check-out procedures.
• Learn resort amenities and offer appropriate packages to enhance guest experience.
• Promote resort activities and options during registration and inquiries.
• Handle reservations for golf, dining, activities, spa, and events when possible.
• Maintain cashier bank and follow cash handling procedures.
