Job summary

Ci Siamo Boston is seeking a Maitre D' to oversee reservations flow, warmly welcome guests, and coordinate between service staff and the kitchen to seat and fill the room with excellence. This role champions Enlightened Hospitality, identifies VIP guests, quotes accurate wait times, and collaborates with management to 'build the book' and boost cover counts.

Candidates need 2+ years in a guest-facing restaurant role, English fluency, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a guest-facing restaurant role.
• Passion for guest experience and hospitality.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests. Recognizing VIP guests, regular guests and actively trying to create new ones
• Quote accurate wait times while "finding the yes" for all guests
• Act as a liaison between the guest, management, service staff and kitchen and communicate accordingly
• Work with efficiency and a sense of urgency while remaining composed
• Demonstrate an understanding of reservations booking strategies and a working knowledge of all functions of Sevenrooms
• Coordinate with management and guest experience team to "build the book" and boost cover counts while taking into consideration both the needs of the business and the needs of our guests
